Board of Health
Four County appointees. The Board meets on the second Thursday
of each month at 5:30 p.m. at the Health Department. The Board acts as an
advisory board to the County Commission and the Health Director on matters
involving public health and animal control. Term - 3 years

charged with making recommendations for maintaining and enhancing public parks

Boone
County Community Service Advisory Commission
Three County appointees. Monthly meetings are the second Tuesday in the Roger B
Wilson Boone County Government Center at 7:00 p.m. The Commission serves to
assure availability of services to individuals experiencing difficulty in
meeting basic human needs. They encourage the delivery of appropriate services
from organizations which can deliver and underwrite the cost of the services. Term - 3 years

vacancies terms expiring 1/30/2011 and 12/31/2012

Building Code Board of Appeals
Ten member
Board with one being from each township in
Five
vacancies representing Bourbon Township expiring 1/1/2013, Centralia Township
expiring 12/31/2012, Cedar Township expiring 1/1/2013, Katy Township expiring
1/18/2015, and Three Creeks Township expiring 6/10/2013.
Applications for all vacancies will be accepted until
filled.
Building Code Commission
Eight
member Board and one County Commissioner which meets on call. The Board reviews
construction code requirements and advises the County Commission on specific
aspects of the Building Codes. Term – 2 years

Environment &
Energy Commission
Four County appointees. Monthly meetings are the fourth Tuesday of each month on the 3rd floor Daniel Boone Building at 7:00 p.m. The Commission serves in an advisory capacity in all matters pertaining to environmental protection and assists in the planning of environmental improvements. They also assist in the promotion and stimulation of public interest. Term - 3 years

Four member Board and one County Commissioner. Meetings are held the third
Tuesday of each month at 7:00 p.m. at the Sewer District Office, 1314 N. 7th
St. The Board is to assume long range responsibility
for waste water quality within Boone County, except for those facilities
operated by a municipality, in order to improve and maintain the health and
welfare of the residents of the County. Shall appoint five trustees, the majority
of whom shall reside within the boundaries of the district. RSMo. 204.300 Term - 5 years

Voluntary committee consisting
of thirteen members selected as follows; Public Works Director, County
Commissioner, Representative from Planning Department and ten Boone County
Citizens. One Boone County resident of the unincorporated area of each of the
ten townships will be selected. Meetings are held the first Thursday of each
month at 5:30 p.m. in the Roger B Wilson Boone County Government Center
Chambers. Term – 4 years
Six vacancies
representing Cedar Township expiring 7/08/2011, Rocky Fork Township expiring
5/31/2013, Bourbon Township expiring 2/02/2012, Centralia Township expiring
6/30/2010, Three Creeks and Missouri Townships each expiring 5/25/2014

these vacancies will be accepted until filled.
A voluntary committee
consisting of ten members, one from each township. This board coordinates and
monitors the changing needs of seniors, and looks for new methods of funding
their needs. This board deals with the full scope of senior issues and looks
for model programs in the United States that would set standards for our
county. Anyone interested in “senior issues” may apply to this board. The Board
meets the second Wednesday of every other month at 1:00 p.m. at the Roger B.
Wilson Boone County Government Center , 801 E. Walnut, Room 245. Term – 4 years

representing Three Creeks Township expiring 9/9/2011 and Bourbon Township
expiring 1/31/2014
